The matte black, long and wiry leaves, with some tips, yield a rewarding dark and bold—yet surprisingly smooth—brew.
Preparation: 3 g tea leaves (1 heaping teaspoon) per 8 oz cup of filtered boiling water. Allow to brew 3–5 min.
